Two-Part Silicone Molding Compound (Large) 2 x 10oz. jars.
Knead equal parts of this compound together until completely blended; then simply press in an object and allow to set. Sets in 5 minutes and fully cured in 10 minutes. Create molds that capture amazing detail. This product comes in two 10oz jars. Needs no release agent!
This product has a maximum shelf life of 6-8 months, but the molds you make will last indefinitely.
Instructions:
Measure out equal amounts of each part of the molding compound.
Combine the two parts and knead thoroughly until there is no marbling.
Place the molding compound on a flat surface and press the object to be molded into the compound.
Allow the molding compound to set for at least 5 minutes.
To test the compound, press your fingernail into an obscure area. If the impression of your nail stays in the compound, it has not yet set. If the impression does not stay, the compound is most likely set.
We always recommend that new users begin with small amounts of this product until they get the process down. Please remember, overworking the compound may cause it to set too quickly, or even cause it to set during the kneading process. In addition, not kneading the compound enough may delay the time it takes to set, or cause uneven setting. Unequal amounts of the product may also cause undesired results.

Heat softened molding material. Reusable. (1.4oz)
Directions: Dip the Oyumaru into hot water (more than 176ºF) for 3 minutes. Take the Oyumaru out of the water with a pair of tongs and wipe it dry with a towel. While it is still soft, press the material you wish to mold into the Oyumaru. If the Oyumaru gets hard while you are working with it, place it back in the water and beging the process again.

These Ring Size protectors are great for making sure your ring doesn't shrink more than necesary. Place your ring on the kiln shelf or solderite board and the place the ring centered over it. Fire in place. Then simply place in a bowl of water, break out, and dispose of water/investment material into trash. Do not put down your drain! The ring should be made 2.5-3 sizes bigger than the size you desire. For example, if you want to end up with a size 5 ring you need to purchase a size 5 Ring Size Protector. Make your ring 2.5 sizes bigger if you plan on sanding the inside to fine finish. This usually removes a half size of ring. If you are not going to alter the inside of your ring, make it 3 sizes bigger. The Multi-mandrel or tapered wooden mandrel are great for making rings onto. Please do not forget to use a piece of freezer paper (available at the grocery store) shiny side up between the mandrel and your clay. If your wooden mandrel is subjected to heat to dry, the wood expands and the ring is difficult to remove. Simply place mandrel, ring and all, in your freezer for 10 minutes.
