Essential Oil Lavender 2.5ml
Our Price:
$11.00
Add this to your metal clay paste to create an oil paste. Refer to PMC Guild's Fusion newsletter on all the benefits of using oil paste for strength when attaching components or doing repairs. Recommendations are to add 25-35 drops to a full container of PMC3 paste (15 grams), when using tincture of oil (4 parts oil and 6 parts alcohol) . Or add 10-15 drops of the essential oil straight to the PMC3 paste. You can also add this to Art Clay paste and make your own homemade version. Allow the paste to absorb over an 8 hour period of time before using. You can add water if the paste dries out. This oil paste should be a bit more creamy than regular paste, in it's consistency. This oil is also good for burns, so keep it's good to put into your first aid kit.
Stores do sell larger bottles, for about $12, but it is likely you'll never use it all. This is a nice size to have without worrying about it going bad before you can use it all. Expiration date on this batch is Nov, 2011. Keep stored in cool dark place. Comes packaged in a black baggy for storage and longer life. The bottle does not have a dropper, but we sell them, TL387, under Painting, Glazing and Surface Coloration.
PMC3 Paste 15g
Our Price:
$28.61
PMC3 is the latest generation of PMC to be released. It can be fired at the lowest temperature, making it perfect for glass applications or ceramics. Firing temperatures range from 1110F - 1650F. Highly recommended for rings, bracelets, anklets and any piece with glass or ceramics. Firing this product at 1650 for 2 hours yields the strongest metal. However, 1650 for 10 minutes is usually sufficient.
Art Clay Silver Paste - 10g
Our Price:
$24.58
Art Clay Silver 650/1200 Paste consists of pure silver particles, a binding agent and water. The binding agent is produced from harmless pulp fiber. During firing, the pure silver particles solidify. The binding agent consists of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen resulting in the release of harmless carbon dioxide and steam during firing. This product is low-fire clay that can be fired at 650ºC/1200ºF, and is pure silver (99.9%) after firing. The special formula of this product allows for combination with glass, porcelain and ceramic materials, and is also suitable for firing with sterling silver findings or wires (SV925 and higher quality recommended). Do not fire a soldered piece with 650/1200 Paste as the soldering temperature is lower than the firing temperature. [Instructions] Some silver settling may occur at the bottom of the jar. Stir the paste well with a brush or a metal spatula before use. To dilute the paste take out the necessary amount and place it in a different container. (Do not dilute directly in bottle.) This product is water-based and can dry up. Always keep the container tightly capped. (If it becomes too thick, add a little water and stir well) Wash the paste off your hands with water after use. The clay may crack during firing if it is not completely dry. Some kilns display a different temperature from the actual inside temperature. It is known that silver will melt at 961ºC/1763ºF. It is recommended that your kiln firing temperature does not exceed 900ºC/1652ºF. You may combine 650/1200 Paste with the original silver clay series (clay, paste and syringe types), but the firing conditions should be the same as the original clay series. You may combine 650/1200 Paste with any other 650/1200 series product (clay, paste and syringe types). Do not bend the fired piece with unreasonable pressure. Keep the clay indoors, out of direct sunlight, and do not store in a refrigerator. For best results use the clay as soon as possible after opening the package.

Art Clay Silver 650/1200 Overlay Silver Paste (OSP) is "low-fire" silver clay in paste form, formulated specifically to use on glazed porcelain. Overlay Silver Paste is in a viscous, liquid form and water soluble, so that you can express 3 dimensional drawings on a surface of porcelain, ceramic or glass. After firing at appropriate temperature ranging from 650ºC/1200ºF to 800ºC/1472ºF, it will turn into 99.9% silver. During firing, the pure silver powder solidifies. The binding agent consists of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen resulting in the release of harmless carbon dioxide and steam during firing. [Instructions] Some silver settling may occur at bottom of the jar. Stir the paste well with a brush or metal spatula before use. This product is water-based and can dry. Always keep the container tightly capped. If it dries, add a small amount of water to re-hydrate. To dilute the paste, take out the necessary amount and place it in a separate container. Then, add water a drop at a time. Do not dilute it directly in the bottle. It is important that your kiln’s pyrometer is functioning properly.
