This product has a maximum shelf life of 6-8 months, but the molds you make will last indefinitely. Instructions: Measure out equal amounts of each part of the molding compound. Combine the two parts and knead thoroughly until there is no marbling. Place the molding compound on a flat surface and press the object to be molded into the compound. Allow the molding compound to set for at least 5 minutes. To test the compound, press your fingernail into an obscure area. If the impression of your nail stays in the compound, it has not yet set. If the impression does not stay, the compound is most likely set. We always recommend that new users begin with small amounts of this product until they get the process down. Please remember, overworking the compound may cause it to set too quickly, or even cause it to set during the kneading process. In addition, not kneading the compound enough may delay the time it takes to set, or cause uneven setting. Unequal amounts of the product may also cause undesired results.
